Social Media Comments Policy and Privacy Notice

Note: This comment policy applies to all official Silvercreek Senior Living social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter and our YouTube channel.

General Information:

Silvercreek Senior Living manages its Facebook fan page, Twitter feed and YouTube channel as portals for information from Silvercreek Senior Living. However, these social media accounts are not Silvercreek Senior Living’s official website.

Comment Policy:

We encourage you to share your thoughts as they relate to the topic being discussed. The views expressed in comments reflect those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the official views of Silvercreek Senior Living nor its staff.

To maintain dignity and respect for the mission of Silvercreek Senior Living and for its residents and staff, we ask that your messages and comments be respectful and considerate. We ask that you follow our posting guidelines set forth below. We will in our sole discretion delete in their entirety comments or posts that:

  • contain abusive, vulgar, offensive, threatening or harassing language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, religion, or disability;
  • are clearly off-topic, that promote services or products, or that promote or oppose any political party, person campaigning for elected office, or any ballot proposition;
  • are solicitations or advertisements, to include the promotion of or endorsement of any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency. Similarly, we do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency;
  • appear to contain copyrighted, trademarked, patented, or proprietary information;
  • suggest or encourage illegal activity;
  • are apparent spam (the author(s) may be blocked from the page without notice);
  • include certain personally identifiable information, such as social security numbers, addresses and telephone numbers;
  • appear to be attempts to file a charge of discrimination with the agency.

Take personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided. Please remember that the content of all comments is released into the public domain, so do not submit anything you do not wish to be broadcast to the general public.

The appearance or sharing of external links on any Silvercreek Senior Living social media account does not constitute official endorsement on behalf of Silvercreek Senior Living, its business owners or staff.

You may quote, republish or share any content on this page on your own blog, website or other communication/publication. If you do so, please indicate from which social media channel the information came and credit the author of the content.

We welcome your comments and questions at any time, but we will review and respond to them within 24 hours during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays, between 9am and 5pm EST). If you submit comments and/or questions after hours or during a weekend or holiday, we will endeavor to review them the next business day.

Members of the media are asked to pose questions to [email protected]. Reporters should refrain from submitting questions via social media as comments. Reporters seeking official comment, documents, or information should contact the director’s office of Silvercreek Senior Living, and staff will respond promptly to those inquiries.  Media requests posted as comments will probably not receive an official response.

Silvercreek’s official website is https://silvercreekseniorliving.com.  Silvercreek Senior Living uses third party sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to share some of the information from its official website in a different format that may be useful or interesting to users of this third party site.  Silvercreek Senior Living cannot attest to the accuracy or security of information on this site, however, or any other linked site other than Silvercreek’s Senior Living’s official website.  Please be aware that the privacy protection provided on social media and third party sites that are not a part of the Silvercreek Senior Living’s domain and may not be the same as Silvercreek Senior Living’s privacy policy. To protect your privacy and the privacy of others, we ask that you do not include personally identifiable information, such as name, Social Security number, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment.  Silvercreek Senior Living does not track or record information about individuals and their visits.
